Wisrah Villefort (Buritizeiro, 1989) lives and works in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Their practice incorporates photography, video, sound, and text into installations and hypermedia works. The artist was shortlisted to the III Reynaldo Roels Jr. Award (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and attended the Pivô Pesquisa AIR (Sao Paulo, Brazil). Institutional archives, collections, and commissions include KADIST (Paris, France), The One Minutes Foundation at Sandberg Instituut (Amsterdam, Netherlands), and Moreira Salles Institute (Sao Paulo, Brazil). Amongst recent exhibitions are the solo “The Mouth of the Gifted Horse” (Goswell Road, Paris, France) and the groups “XOXO” (Galerie I'axolotl, Toulon, France), 14th Curitiba Biennale (Curitiba, Brazil), “Prosthetics Vol. 2” ( U10 Art Space, Belgrade, Serbia), and “SUPERHOST” (Like a Litle Disaster, Polignano, Italy).
